John
Ball

“Since I retired in 2014, my service opportunities have given me positive activities to look forward to fill my days. Whether I am providing rides for seniors who need to get to doctor or hair appointments, or delivering food to people in need, I am able to help fill needs for others. I get to meet and interact with a variety of people, and I work with many wonderful volunteers who seek to serve our community at large.”
In the past seven years, John has indeed provided countless “positive activities” in service to our community, including volunteering as a Jet Express driver for Jewish Family Services and a variety of duties at the Jewish Community Center of KC. He is an active volunteer at Church of the Resurrection, including delivering food back packs to partner schools, delivering food to neighborhood food pantries, and he will be part of a new ministry called Food Mobile, delivering food directly to those in need. John is a veteran, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, and his past employment includes stints at Miller Brewing Co., the Rialto, CA School District and Graham Packaging Co.
